Straight Talk with Dr. Terry Power

If you’ve ever had Prof. Power as an instructor you will remember that he does not shy away from controversial topics. This fall, Terry is joining the recruitment and advancement teams across Canada to connect with our next generation of students and to reconnect with alumni he has come to know so well during his 20 year career at Royal Roads.

Global Climate Change Week

Royal Roads Staff and Students showcase their role in sustainability on and off campus.

October 10 to 16 is Global Climate Change Week, which aims to encourage engagement and conversation around climate change action and solutions. Climate change poses a major threat to sustainable development and single occupant vehicles are one of the biggest contributors to greenhouse gas emissions. To help raise awareness about emissions from vehicles and inspire behaviour change, we are conducting commuter emission audits for those willing to gain a sense of the emissions associated with their travel to Royal Roads University. Participants are given the option to make a donation to offset their commuter emissions, with the donation going to the Royal Roads Sustainability Action for the Environment Fund.
